    Neurological surgeons at Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience in Philadelphia reviewed patient records from 2003 and found that cigarette smokers -- especially those with low-grade subarrachnoid hemorrhage -- who received this treatment were at increased risk for aneurysm recanalization (re-opening).
