"His condition had deteriorated so much, he had problems getting up and down the lane. I know we're not going to push him (to excel), obviously because he's less than two months removed from major surgery. We're not talking about a fingernail problem here. "As for his return, he's been talking about coming back since long before the surgery," he added.
